Amarendran Ramanan is an Indian actor and director who has acted and coordinated in a few plays in French and English organized in Chennai and Pondicherry. In the 1980s when he was a student in college his passion towards acting started. He participated in Loyola college production of Girish Karnad's Tughlaq which soon led him to get minor roles in Mithran Devanesan's Gilbert and Sullivan musicals in Chennai, India. Following this, he also performed in many English dramas for numerous theatre associations in Chennai. Amarendran is also good at writing stories and has written some peculiar books for children. His first book for children named Siri´s Smile was written in English and has been later on translated in various Indian languages because of its popularity. He has recently written another book for children entitled Salim the Knife-Sharpener.
Cinematographer & Actor
Santhosh Sreeram the son of great Tamil poet Vikramadityan. He is popularly known as Santhosh, an cinematographer and an Indian actor, who has performed in Tamil language film. He has been recognized for the role he played in the film, ToLet. This film has won in the category National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Tamil at the 65th National Film Awards.
